about the eclipse gallery

our goal at the eclipse gallery is to bridge the gap between the fine art, craft, and design worlds, and therefore art and life. our aim is to show only the highest quality contemporary art and handmade design—from local, national, and international artists. of most importance to us is breaking down the barriers, stereotypes, and preconceived notions about art, artists, galleries, and curators–creating an environment that is more conductive to what is actually important–the artwork. issues such as location, for example, should be a non-issue. the eclipse gallery exhibits quality artwork on an international level.

many artists will tell you they see the world differently, and they want to share that vision with the rest of the world. that is our goal as well. people are influenced by their environments tremendously. what you see is what you experience. whether you are interested in building a contemporary art collection, or you simply want to eat your dinner on one-of-a-kind, handcrafted plates, we want you to make your life more interesting by creating your unique environment. art can help to make your experience more unique and satisfying. we want you to feel good when you purchase from the eclipse gallery, because you are helping independent artists, designers, and craftspeople live the life they’ve worked so hard for and that their talent deserves.

the eclipse gallery is a venue where anyone can come to experience an artist’s vision and feel a sense of community. people can spend time and feel comfortable here, and truly see what the art and design has to offer. children are very welcome, and can come create in our free children’s art studio. the eclipse gallery is an opportunity to help sustain and grow the arts community.

we want to eclipse your expectations.
